Is this a decent planter??

I have been looking for a two row planter and a guy has this one for sale. I have not seen it personally but he is asking $400. What model is this and is it decent? What should I look for when I go to see it, as I know nothing about planters. Thanks.

it looks like a jd with the color, however that is just a guess. but the price seems fair. i spent 400 on mine and it didn't have fertilizer hoppers.

The planter looks like it is the John Deere 246. Price seems to be alright. I paid $600 for my 2 row JD71 and it was totally refurbished with new paint and parts, but I don't have fertilizer hoppers.
