Is this a defective seat ? Pic attached.

Got a replacment seat shipped to me to replace the older style on my B2630. This thing has ripples in it toward the front (and on the top edges as well). I think it is defective, but just wanted to make sure that its not some new "space age" design or something. Have a look and see what you think.

let it sit in the sun for a day (or use a blow dryer to heat it but not too close)...if it doesn't go away, then it's defective...looks almost as if the glue didn't adhere to the foam cushion.

I agree. Used to assemble motorcycles/jet skis and sometimes we'd get one where something was mashed on the seat. After a few hours in the sun ,9x out of 10 they were fine.
