Is this a fair price for my tractor?

I am having to sell one of my tractors because I need to buy a skid steer. Stinks because I just bought this tractor a little over a month ago and have enjoyed it. I've thought about selling one of my other tractors but I use them too much and even though I use this 5325 I use it the least out of all my tractors. I looked over all the other 5325's on Tractorhouse to get an idea and prices are all over the place. I put on a price that I think is fair for the condition it's in, the hours, and the features it has. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't asking too little or too much and what should be my price I stand firm at? I'm thinking not to move too much off of $27k to be honest. I was already offered $22k by some guy on Craigslist who claimed he "buys and sells tractors for a living" and acted like I insulted him when I turned down his offer and came back with $27. Sorry, dude, I'm not knocking off 5 grand just so you can sell it for a $10k profit. Then he started his speal about "he's taking all the risk" and I was like "how so? you contacted me, I didn't approach you." I also priced it the way I did because Tractorhouse is charging me $200 a month to list this thing and I don't have time for tire kickers and dickering. I figured the price should bring in a serious buyer.

Bob, I don't have the experience to price it, but it is a good looking utility tractor, and I would think it would sell pretty quick.

I looked at all the other 5325's That are for sale and tried to list mine for the options it had and condition it was in for what I thought is a more then fair price. Got one call so far but he's just a tire kicker I assume because he said he wanted to come look at it yesterday afternoon and I never heard from him.

Well they don't make the 25 series anymore. You'd have to compare it to a 5065m and I'm seeing those with prices well in the 30's and no loader or power reverser.

Not sure what you paid for the machine but I thought you mentioned more than what your asking now. I would think what ever you paid for it you should be able to get back minus the shipping cost.

Well when I bought the tractor I also bought some impliments with it as well but they're staying with me. Just selling the tractor.

Good looking tractor at a fair price. I'd say leave it as is for a while. If it doesn't sell in a month, you can always drop it a little. (lot easier to go down than up )

Are you the one that posted about your buying experience not long ago? Did you buy this from a distant dealer and you were really happy with the dealer and buying process?

Yeah I've only had this tractor not even two months. Reason for selling is I recently contracted out some fields for haying to a local guy for the next several years. I'm buying an older tractor to keep around my house and this one is too big for those tasks. I'm getting the skid steer with about 4 different attachments from a friend and this tractor won't be getting used. I hate keeping equipment that's not being used so this one needs to go. Wasn't planning all these changes. The dealer I bought it from was awesome and matter of fact if he gets in a tractor I'm looking for he will definately get my business.

Thanks. I put what I thought was a fair price on it just wanted some second opinions. I've had interest in it but nothing to make anyone bring me money yet.

You making it sound like you bought it new 2 months ago. There's close to 700 hours on it. Yeah for sure it's a clean looking tractor but you can't compare what the thing would cost new. Especially after it's got a decent amount of hours on it. Of course everyone is gonna agree you have it priced right on here. I don't know but maybe you should ask the question in another forum not one sided to john deere. Just some friendly advice

It started off slowly bringing in the calls but now I get at least 3 a day. Ended up selling it to a guy in VA for what I wanted and he was happy and so was I. The reason it's bringing in so many calls is the condition it's in, that's what all the callers have been telling me anyways. Haven't had a one try to really talk me down a lot in price except for a dealer who called.

Well I got my tractor sold, now just waiting for my bank to clear the funds. Should only take 5 business days but for some reason it's going to take them until Sept 2 which is stupid. Wouldn't normally take a check from someone I didn't know but this guy was on the up and up and even owns a business and I looked on his website and everything (same numbers he was calling me from, has a pic of him on the website, good reviews about his business that I read on BBB and google reviews). We've talked on the phone several times prior to selling the tractor and I never got that weird feeling.
