The price seems to be fair. Have you test driven it?

does it have a cab or open station ? If it's with a cab, I would say yes good price. If open station I would say no, more like $18 to $20 thousand.

Here's a pic. Just spotted the ad today. Haven't called to get any info.

Seems high for a non-cab model, low hours or not. What are you doing with the tractor? I had a 1533L and found it plenty powerful for everything that I was doing - mowing, bush hogging, loader work, pulling a massive New Holland tractor that weighed twice the 1533, chipping, light forestry work, snow plowing, etc. It would be hard for me to justify the cost increase of the 60hp engine - looking at the tasks I was doing it doesn't seem necessary to have that power. I have used it for the last 18 months getting my 15 acre farm in shape, and am only trading it in because I'm doing more ag oriented work, and the 1533L is too small for some tasks, and it won't pull a small square baler. My 2008 1533L was $16k in mid-2010 with 240 hours.

I always thought that if you really needed a 60hp machine it would be better in a larger frame tractor... 25K can get you alot of tractor these days - or less tractor and more attachments/toys. Also keep in mind that high HP is nice, but useless is you can't get that power to the ground effectively.

Good luck in your search.

Does seem a little high. It does seem to look pretty good. I think a new version would run around 33K.

25K is probably what it's worth, but with the financing and cash incentives today, you're better off to buy a new one.

Maybe when you tell him it doesn't have a Turbo you can beat him down a bit.

That's the conclusion I'm coming around too as well. Thanks to all for the input!

Way too high. Wouldn't pay more than $21,000, although it is a sweet looking machine. Just bought a new 2615 48 hp Synchro Shuttle 4wd FEL for $24,600 including taxes and delivery.
