Looking
OK, I have made my decision (I think). After reading everything and then trying a CK20, LK3054XS, CK 25 HST and then a CK45 (mainly to see how the controls would work on a non HST) I have decided on the CK 25HST. I didn't try the 30 but also didn't want to pay extra for the 5HP when I really believe the 25 is fine. Putting the 20 and 25 next to each other, the 25 seems enormous but for $1500 more I can go from the 20 to the 25. The ideal size would be something in between (physically).

So, the question is, am I getting a good price?

CK25HST with Loader $11900
Tiller $1000
Box Scraper $300
Post Hole Digger $600
Tax $1173

Total delivered price is $14973

Do you guys think this is a respectable price to pay?

Oh yea, forgot to mention, cup holder included!

Thanks for the feedback on this and other posts. You guys have REALLY been helpful.

It's a reasonable price. For the 1500 or so extra, you're also getting more in the telescopic lift arms and other goodies not seen on the CK20 so it's not just larger and more HP.
The CK20HST with loader can easily go for $12,500, so $11,900 is great. I think you'll be very happy with it. John

Man .. it sure is great here in the NE.

Here's my quote:

CK25HST K130 Loader, R4s, free delivery:

$15,300.

Buy it at that price with those things, and bring it out east and sell it. Do that about 10 times, and you'll have yourself a FREE tractor.

That is not a great price but rather a mistake on the dealers part. He must have forgot to add in the loader or just had a lapse in figuring.

Dead cost is more than your quote plus freight and set- up plus a battery.

I smell a sticky key on a calculator.

The list price on the unit and loader is $17,205 so go figure.

You know I was scratching my head on this one Dave. I couldn't believe the price just based on what I know, but who am I to question that dealer's quote? I knew that tractor's MSRP had to be a good bit more than my CK20, and the loader is more than my KL120 as well. I was just thinking about getting in the truck and heading that way! LOL

I agree.
Something was missed on the quote when adding.
I was quoted just under $16,000 for a CK 30 HST with loader.
From what I've been reading the CK 25 are running around $1500 less.
That should put the CK 25 hydro with loader in the $14,500 area, give or take a few hundred $.

I would say they accidently priced a gear drive and that is still a GREAT deal.

Tractor show price today in SW MO was CK25 HST/FEL was 13,250 with AG or $13550 with IND. No delivery. The CK30 HST was $14800 w/FEL, IND tires. I am torn between the two. Identical size except ground clearance. $1250 for 5 HP? BTW, before the show I had settled on the Mahindra 2515 or 3015 HST but after side by side examination, I am leaning back toward the KIOTI. The 3 point is MUCH beefier, the controls are nicer, the deck is easier to sit in. Nicer fit/finish...just a nicer machine for the same price. The 2615 HST was 13,520 w/FEL, the 3015 was $15000. The Kioti was about 300 lbs more and you can see it. The loaders are not quite as strong statically but they have the curved arms to increase visibility. I think the Kioti wins. I know the resale must be better because our dealer sells his trade ins before I ever get a chance to see them. He calls, I drive, its gone. I guess I'll have to buy a new one...dang it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Why would the ground clearance be any different? These tractors are both on the exact same frame, and the clearance should be equal unless one has a mid mount mower on it and the other doesn't. Other than a small difference between AG and IND tires, they should be the same.
It's really a shame that most people never get a chance to see a side by side comparison of Kioti with other tractors. As you found out, there really is a difference that's noticeable. I hope you get to buy whatever you want soon, either way. John
