I think thats a great price,have`nt checked lately but they were at one time running between 18 to 23,000. I gave $23,000 for mine with the 18la fel last year and concidered it a great deal. I`ve seen several with fel`s priced at 27,000 since getting mine.

Matt, it's odd that I checked here today, this is my first post but I've been reading these boards for a long time. I just checked with our two local NH dealers on that exact tractor. One quote was $19300 and the other was $18,350. These two dealerships are literally 25 miles apart. (One in WV, One in Ohio). So I would say that $15000 is a pretty good price. Almost good enough for my to drive to Alabama and buy it myself, lol. Those prices were for FWD, is the $15k for FWD or 2WD?

Two Wheel drive TC48's have a bunch of extra discounts right now because they are being phased out. They are not selling well.

I paid $1500 for my 2004 tc30 with 4wd, 1738 loader, hydro and r4's with 4 year interest free. if your getting the same equipment with a bigger tractor, don't give the dealer enough time to change his mind. BUY IT !!!!!!

Sonnie,

I went this afternoon and got the 2WD TC48DA w/Canopy and a Browns 5' Rotary Cutter. Assuming the credit check is ok, it should be delivered tomorrow. I worked with Dick Helms at Helms and Son Tractor. Couldn't get him to come down any more on the price but I am not a real good negotiator. Looking forward to working with the tractor.

Here is my new tractor after a day of use. Cuts good. With all the logging debris and stumps around I have to use Low 3rd or so, should be finished this time next year.
