I have a DK 40 HST with about 75 hrs. Did all fluid and filters at 50 hrs. Hit the zerks regularly.
In short; i take care of her.
Recently had a slab poured and now parking on concrete. there is a slow hydraulic fluid leak. it seems to be coming from the center of the chassis. Located pretty much dead center under the seat. If you look under the tractor there are some openings arranged in a square pattern. Not threaded just holes. I will try to get a pic tonight to post.
it is a slow drip and looks like less than an ounce overnight. I knowI can check the fluid level and top off but my concern is a poor fit where the tractor is split. Not looking for a catastrophic leak !!
I have checked and find no loose fittings.
The drip is coming from inside the chassis and is not accessible.
Any thoughts??
The hydraulic system is a closed system, no amount of leakage is "normal". A machine with 75 hours is still under warranty. Have the dealer come pick it up and address the small leak before it becomes a larger leak.
