Is this Pole Barn floor idea crazy?

I have a poured concrete home, only one place a battle them. That is the garage doors. They just chew through the rubber gasket at the corners. First attempt was a block of wood at the corner, they just moved their chewing out a bit. I did come up with a good solution though.

If you look close a the gasket/door, the metal part of the doors stops about 3/4 above the concrete, space for rubber gasket. I just filled this gap with a wood strip. I cut (2) 1-1/2" by 3/4" strips of wood, half the width of the door + enough to go beyond the frame. Lower the door and push the sticks to fill that gap between the concrete and the metal part of the door. Mouse proof now. I keep a trap by each side to confirm

With the idea working now to make it easy. If I forget to re-place my sticks, next day I have mice! So I was going to tapcon the stick to the floor, but then driving the garden tractor over it could catch. So the next plan is the rip PVC lumber and attach it to the outer bottom side of the door. You need to have a flat concrete slab and the door needs to hit it real flat. Your filler stick may need to be thicker thinner depending on how you gasket fits.

I looked into a Pole barn when deciding on my new shed. I was warned about the problems of trying to put a concrete floor in a pole barn, particularly the sealing issue. A pole barn is good for what it is. Good sturdy, cheap shelter for machines. Trying to put a floor in that is like trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear as they say.
