is this PTO shaft stock?

hi all,

I have another question for all of the learned tractor folks that frequent this discussion list...I just first got around to rolling my genuine Kubota RCK60-24B 60" mower deck out from under my new B7500 today to get a better look at it...first thing I noticed was that the pto shaft was manufactured by a company named "Weasler"...the name is stamped right on the shaft yokes...don't hardly sound Japanese!...is this right?...doesn't Kubota make their own PTO shafts?...or...if they do, should I have expected to get one when I bought this tractor/mower deck combination?....did my Kubota dealer do a switcheroo on me?...anyone ever heard of this brand?...I'm I being too picky?...does anyone out there have this deck with this brand of pto shaft?...any comments are greatly appreciated, as always.

You have a solid brand name company… been around about 50 years or so… heavy into the replacement parts market… I’d say nothing to worry about…/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

(don’t hold me to it… but I think most of their PTO shafts and u-joints are made in Holland)

Weasler, a good-product company, likely makes this OEM for Kubota. This type mower is mainly built for the North American market. Kubota MAY build these mowers in Gainesville GA at their plant there.
You better maintain that PTO well. The replacement parts cost is three times more than a rear mount replacement PTO.

Hey Moonz,
If you look on the serial tags of the implements on your Kubota, many will say Made in Gainesville, GA. Every implement on my BX200 was made there including the tractor itself.
