Thanks for all the great input.
Time is on my side...if a powerflow or cart comes up on Craigslist, I might try to scoop it up.
Thanks:thumbsup:

Impressive. It really packs it in there.

Easy to empty ?

There is a latch that allows the cart to tilt back and dump, but it's doesn't really do anything when its packed full. I just reach in there with my bare hands and start pulling the leaves/debris off the top. When it gets down to about half full, I use a steel rake to remove the rest. Overall, it's not that bad, but compared to the MC519 system, it's a lot more labor intensive.

I put my leaves in a 4x8 trailer and take them to the recycle center (Many trips a year). This would be a lot of work for me to transfer from the cart to my trailer. If I were dumping them in the woods, this would be ideal.
The thing I like about the cyclone rake is they have an option that is basically a series of barrels that sit in the bed of the cart and it collects the leaves. So all I would have to do is take them out and dump them in the trailer, just like I do now with My JD bagger bags.

You can probably bag leaves just fine with the 2 bagger. I'm guessing it will work best if you keep the air flow up. Keeping everything clean including the bags will help and not waiting till the bagger is completely full. I find that as the bags fill up leaves start to block the screen over the exhaust chute. I start to get a lot of blow out. Figuring out which blades work best for you bagging leaves helps. I like how the gator blades chop the leaves but I get too much blow out so I usually switch to the stock JD blades on the 48 and 54 decks with powerflow. I think you can add powerflow but there are several different powerflow blowers so you will need to find out which one you need. I have read several threads about leaf collection. The guys who have sweepers seem to like them. The big thing about the MC519 cart is that it holds so much more than the bagger. I find that I only use mine for the 2 or 3 weeks when the leaves are falling heavy.

The sweeper is fine if you have pine needles or small leaves..Oak leaves fill it up faster..I pull mine with the mower..Depends on how much money you spend for leaf removal. If you have a lot to spend, Great..I like the Russian snow blower idea, i bet it runs in reverse easier..

I had a yard with 92 oak trees. When we moved in, my neighbor said "get the biggest blower you can find". I went out and got some little handheld jobby from Lowes. Took me 13 hours to blow the leaves, the first time.

So I went out and got this - a L'il Wonder. I LOVED that thing.

Several of my neighbors have these as well. My problem is its another motor to maintain, another gas can, etc. But at the end of it all it just may be my best bet...unless I can find one of those Russina machines on Ebay;)

They are 4-stroke, so I'm not sure whether another gas can is needed? But I do understand the desire to minimize the number of engines. Runs contrary to Tooltime Tim's "Manliness index" though: manhood is directly correlated to the number of engines in one's garage.

I've tried lawn sweeper and had the same problems with large oak and maple leaves filling it up way too fast and if the leaves get wet and packed into the lawn it just sweeps right over the clumps.
I had a DR Power powered tow behind leaf collector and that was fantastic for the several acres I have to do and needing the leaves chewed up for composting and mulch use, but the engine seized and I've gone back to using the mower's bagging buckets. I had better luck both mulching and collecting with the high lift blades.
I just let the buckets fill up and then run over all the leaves to chew them up and then empty the buckets and the clogged up chute and go back to slowly bagging them into the buckets.
I just pile them up into several big piles in the woods to keep until Spring when I start using them in the garden for mulch and adding to the lawn clippings for compost.

Cut up, they don't blow away or around and stay put, both as mulch in the Summer and from the piles in the Winter.
