I agree with the others. It's not that $75 is allot of money, but that thing looks to be poorly built with the wrong materials. Keep your eyes open and you'll see that box blades and other implements show up all the time.
craigslist: san francisco bay area classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events is my current favorite source for good deals. I check it every day for what's for sale in East Texas.
Classifieds - Classified Ads - Advertising - Used Cars - New Cars - Homes for Sale - Real Estate has had some great deals, but you have to be quick. It comes out Thursday morning and I've missed on a few things because I was too late.
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices isn't what it used to be for good deals, but from time to time they come along. Especialy if it's listed in an odd area. If I'm looking for something specific, then I do a search of everything on ebay for it. You'd be suprised to see where people list things!!! This is how I got my laser level!!
And of course, driving the back roads and taking different routes has worked too. I drove to Dallas to look at a dump truck one time. The truck wasn't what I wanted, but on the way home, I took a different route. Sitting along the highway was the truck I ended up buying.
Auctions haven't worked out for me yet, but I haven't given up on them either. Just be sure to know what it's worth brand new before going there as I've seen items sell used for more then you can buy them brand new!!! I was looking at 16 foot two axle trailers and they were selling at or even above $1,000 at the auctions I went to. I bought mine brand new in perfect condition for $950 from a trailer builder here in town.
