Is your e-mail account being deleted?

Has any one else been getting these e-mails saying your e-mail is being deleted at your request. I have been getting them for a couple of days saying that my e-mail is being deleted. First time I noticed it was on my cell phone and it looked official, coming from AOL with https. AOL I logged on to my desk top this morning and the address is test@greencorfu.com it says "click here" if you did not make this request. I didn't click. Sounds like a scam or virus will be loaded.

Any email like that would be in my trash/spam folder without even opening it, much less logging in anywhere else to look. Your a brave man...

Emails like that get a filter put on them (gmail) and they automatically get deleted as soon as they come to me.

I'd say it's a scam. I haven't received that one, but I've been getting the ones saying to open an attachment for some financial (blah, blah, blah) documents for my review.

Yeah, right.

Best course of action is not to open such things.

Because the REAL Nigerian Prince is sending that money to ME!

So yours is obviously a copy cat fake.

I hate to be the millennial in the room, but the in my opinion, the best course of action here would be to delete your AOL account yourself. It's not 2001 anymore...

No one is deleting your account, it's a scare tactic to get you to quickly click on a link. When in doubt, delete it...

Pure scam ... run (don't walk) away. No pun intended but perhaps you could setup a "white" list to filter out spam?
