No doubt about it , it's a tool ! Probably the most enjoyable tool I've ever owned . And, no doubt the most expensive .
Do I smile every time I operate it ? You bet !
Could I do without it ? Yes . But then I'd have to contract out what I can do for myself . Short term that would work . But in the long run I doubt it . John

When I was a child, a toy was something rarely seen in my family. With four boys to buy for, there wasn't a lot of money for toys. I never had as much fun with the few toys I had as a child as I do with my tractor, and I get the added benefit of getting a lot of serious work done. My Kioti is more fun than all the toys I EVER had all wrapped together. So I'll call it a tooltoy. If Madonna can have her boytoys, I can have my tooltoy. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifJohn

If I remember right, 30 years ago, the Executive motorhome manufacturer advertised "You can tell the men from the boys by the price of their toys."

Definitely a tool. But, aren't most tools fun?
Also, it is definitely more fun completeing a job in an hour instead of a day!

Yesterday I decided to just take the Kioti out riding around. I didn't do ONE bit of work, just rode for a while. Yesterday it was a toy. Today I removed a small oak tree, spread some asphalt chips in a neighbor's drive, and bushogged 4 acres. Today it was a tool. NOT. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif John
