Iseki rototiller find. Worth fixing? or run it as it is?

I've been searching for a couple years now for a "cheap" rototiller because I'm a poor bastard and I finally found one on CL that I was willing to buy. Got it for really good deal because I bought it with a couple other implements. Is this thing worth fixing up or should i just run it as it is?

let me know what you think... mechanically its pretty good, just has some bends and cracks in some places that need repairing

oh... and whats the deal with the flap on the back? why so many sections?

OK - I'm not familiar with Iseki rototillers, so I go on the internet and check them out on their web site. The one thing that strikes me right off watching your video - I don't see where the rototiller connects to your 3-point lower arms. Those I looked at on the internet had definite connection points on the tiller.

the 3 point is set in a bit. maybe 6" or so, in from the tiller deck and the top link point is much further out which is why it has a 10" top link

Lots of these things tend to be grey market. I'd want to be sure of the rotation. I think that one can get a PTO reverser if needed. Just something to think about.

Check the drive mechanism. Grease it. Run it and see how it works. That way you'll be able to determine IF it even needs "fixing" (could be that it needs new blades, which really isn't "fixing" per se).

Thanks, I didn't even think about the rotation... ill have to check that out. I checked the lube and it seemed fine but i didn't see any zerks for the bottom bearings. Once it thaws this spring, ill throw it on the tractor and give it a whirl before I spend to much time on it.
