I just assumed the tach was electronic, because I didn't see a cable going in. It's a skinny little thing that looks like another wire. My son took dash apart today and found the cable barely hanging onto the tach. He reconnected it and now it works great. My wife wants this tractor. Looks like a keeper.

I worked my TA215 all weekend. It is a joy to use. I put a new seat with arm rest on mine. The original had all the padding gone.

So, any idea when the TA 262 was mfg'd? Early 90's?

I'm looking at one tomorrow night and trying to get as much info on them as possible.
