Hi,
I just bought this tractor, my first, and am pretty excited about it. I haven't had a chance to go over it yet, but did drive it around some and all the drive train seems to work well. I did notice, however, that there's about a 1/4" slop/play where the steering tie rod, or link(?) connects to the left side front wheel/axle pivot point. There's also a grease zerk there. The right side seems OK, pretty tight. It looks like there is a cover with about six bolts on top of the casting where the bearing resides (sleeve, ball, or roller bearing?). Assuming the slop is not supposed to be there, is this an easy or difficult job to do? Any special tools needed? Thanks for you input,

Bill in CO
