I had a good laugh when I installed my driveshaft. It works great and is well balanced. Very smooth, very heavy duty, in fact too heavy duty! When I got over to the shop and started assessment for the front wheel driveshaft (which was also twisted off), I realized the 1310 universal is large enough to interfere with the lower drive unit. All it means is a bit more work to extend the lower shaft to clear the upper joint, but for anyone facing the same challenge, you need to go down a size. The 1310 is just big enough to interfere with the lower joint. A 1000 series is rated a bit light, but may work just fine. Another possibility is a donor driveshaft from a small Toyota truck or something with less bulk. At least the concept is sound and we know it works! This is starting to look like FrankenIseki, but it's a good old tractor.
