I still have to put the front PTO on and transfer the hydraulics from the G172. Seems like it never ends, but then if it did what fun would that be?

Thought I'd post this for those thinking about installing a front PTO. I ran into a slight problem with the one on the KE75. When I first installed the original radiator and radiator frame from the TX1300 I noticed there wasn't much clearance between the PTO and the frame. Later, I saw it was actually rubbing due to flexing of the frame. After further investigation, I noticed the radiator frame from the G172 had a pressed arch in the bottom to allow for the PTO (see pic). I'm in the process of swapping it now. One other thing, at least in my case - the front bolt pattern that bolts the radiator frame to the front axle/engine frame is closer together on the G172 for some reason. I'll need to drill new holes that are about one diameter wider towards the front of the machine to make them line up with the TX1300 engine frame holes. Please consider these things when adding a front PTO.

Here's a video of adding a foot pedal for the fuel setting on the older TX series as well as checking blowby between the KE70 and 75. Much to my surprise, they are about equal in blowby. The KE70 is much louder though. I guess this engine will just continue to keep me puzzled on why it lacks low-end torque

Nice. I didn't know the 2 cyl models didn't have the foot throttle. Good work.

Thanks. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Still took an entire day (and needs another half to finish including painting) but there were really no show stoppers along the way. The brake pedals don't have the clearance between the floor boards the 3-cylinder versions offer so it's a little tight and easy to get your foot caught between the brake pedal and fuel lever. I can live with it though.
