Yes, my 5 day old TN75DA blew up today
It has a itty bitty leak on the hoses going to the heater core in the cab where they were pinched (installed incorrectly or not long enough) and it pretty much spit out the entire radiator.
I look down about 30 minutes into this job and IT'S IN THE RED
What is going on?

*****
I open the cab door and PSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTT steam flying out of the hose.
bad word, bad word, bad word.

Of course, it's busy time, the dealer is booked, but he'll try, and I'm totally booked and I need the big mower over the next few days.
Boned.
it happens, i'm not really mad (much), but I'm slightly upset. I should have caught it sooner, wasn't even watching temp gauge that soon into a job. Bah. see, a platform wouldn't have had this problem. KISS.

So, handled under warranty, but I have nothing working. It's been an ugly day.

Sorry to hear about the bad news...:(

You know, we offer FREE loaner tractors at our dealership when a tractor fails under warranty, no questions asked. Even if there is only one day left under warranty. Actually, we offer free loaners to most all our customers that need repairs. (especially the guys bringing in the green and orange tractors...:)

Sometimes they actually trade up and overall its just good business practice. Did you ask your dealer for a loaner or if not, at least a half rate or less to rent one while yours is down? Worth asking anyway.

Again, sorry about the problems. The TN's are VERY solid tractors and are RARELY in our shop for repairs and thats the truth. But, you cant hold the hand of the guy assembling it and everyone has bad days at work. Looks like you got one of those. I would have the dealer check EVERYTHING else while its in for warranty repair.

BTW, do you have a loader installed? Because there is extensive "tear down" to the tractor to install the rear loader mounting brackets. Perhaps the setup guy at the dealership left them loose.....yikes!

Best of luck,
Larry

Lets hope you don't get any crap from the local dealer fo rbuying from an out of state dealer.
One good thing, you'll get all the bad things out in one week, the bushhog, and the tractor breaking at the same time - then the rest of the summer will be trouble free.

Sorry to hear about your hard luck. Keep the chin up.....it's still an incredible tractor.

Hey Brian. I just got my new Kubota. I hope everyone was having a good day when they put mine together.

I live down here in Denver. Maybe we can meet someday.

Update
After the dealer sitting on it for two days and me finally having to call my salesguy and go "how much have I bought from you this year? A lot right? well, if you guys can't keep me running, there's no point in me buying from you" to get a fire lit under their behind, they finished it saturday morning

And, of course, just like i said, it's a pinched line for the heater hose to the cab from a bad install and they just put a splice in and then refilled it.

THEN THEY CHARGED ME FOR IT:mad:

Said, it's a dealer install problem. (says New Holland on the cab doesn't it?, I can't buy the cab uninstalled, thus, it's a New Holland problem)

I could have done that  , i figured it was under warranty.

So, the other dealer is going to get a call that says you owe me this and personally New Holland's 2000 hour/ 2 year warranty is worth precisely

zip.

I'm not happy.

At this point, I am thinking before getting in the middle of two dealers butting heads about a bad install, and the other saying it's not my fault, I would get New Holland on the line and get their opinon of the next step. Tell them to get the dealers (who are their employees) to decide who pays and send you a check, or you can let your attorney make the call, cause your out of the loop for this one. Your job isn't to handle warranty claims for New Holland...

Did it hurt the engine? And did they change the oil because after a engine get's hot the oil sometimes turns to jelly in the bottom of the oil pan . I would check it if i could .I hope you get it resolved soon .
