Yesterday, it was in the 50's.

We thought about that but having 2 homes and 1 if which requires solar power there's a tremendious amount of work to be done up there and we don't want to wait. At 44yrs of age it's becoming obvious that my joints cant take all the abuse they once could. Life is that way for all of us at one point or another. Best way for me to handle that situation is to retire early. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

P.S. Once I'm up there I'll be thinking of all you guys in 9 to 5 land. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Ain't that the truth. Right now blizzard conditions complete with "thunder snow" and 50 mph winds. More seat time tomorrow morning. 6-8" expected + drifts.

Well, looking at the bright side, the wind last night snapped off a big pine at the edge of our lower field so our view is much improved! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I am beginning to think they should change the saying "in like a lion, out like a lamb" to April. This month so far has done nothing close to make me think it will leave like a lamb. Maybe a ram if we're lucky. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Here in New Hampshire March is a pre-spring month not a post-winter month. It's that wondeful time of the year when you can have mud season along with some down right cold weather. The nice thing about this time of year iss that whatever weather we have it doesn't last long.

We had a blizzard last night, the wind blew through the trees howling like crazy. I hear Friday we are due for more. In 3 or 4 short weeks it will all be gone, we hope.

The sun apperas earlier and stays out later every day. Spring is right around the corner, but the corner may be a little farther down the road. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

And we've just continued with too much rain. I mowed Saturday, wearing rubber boots because it was so wet, and it already needs mowing again now, but we had just a little bit more rain last night. But, like you said ( looking at the bright side ) there's no rain in the forecast now for the foreseeable future, so tomorrow or the next day it gets mowed again. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif But I'm not too pleased with that forecast of 76 for a high Saturday. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

NH sure has changed a lot since I lived there 40 years ago. Seems like winter came earlier and lasted longer. Summer was just a blip that passed by quickly.... oh, how I wish that I could just relive those years over again.... Great times, great places, great friends, many who have passed on since... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
