It is snowing this morning

October 16th and it is snowing, this is crazy, this is about the earliest I can recall if it sticks to the ground at all.

I was just out in the boat two weeks ago.

Hey Deputy, I still haven't installed my coolant heater from last summer. I bet you haven't either.....

As I get older I seem to like snow less and less, although it is pretty to look at.

It was snowing last night and this morning there was a light slushy cover on the grass but the roads were bare. This isn't supposed to happen for at least another month. Last Winter's total was 145 inches. I hope some of this goes somewhere else. A snowblower would have been much better than a blade considering a day could bring a foot or more of new snow. Just think of all the seat time that is coming.

Snowed for a couple of hours down here in Boston too. I haven't even taken my boat off its mooring yet. Was planning to do that this weekend but the Noreaster has changed those plans. I'll need to play hooky sometime next week when the temp is supposed to hit 60 again.

I actually drained my block the night before last, can't believe I was worried about freezing temps this early.

Wish I had a mooring, I've been looking for a piece of land on a lake where I can at least moor the boat so I can go boating after work rather than trailering ever single time.

Hooky, sounds like a good reason to me.
