It is snowing this morning

Seems as though everyone I know is counting on those warm days next week. I sure hope the weather folks are paying attention or they are off the Christmas List!

Snowed for a couple of hours down here in Boston too. I haven't even taken my boat off its mooring yet. Was planning to do that this weekend but the Noreaster has changed those plans. I'll need to play hooky sometime next week when the temp is supposed to hit 60 again.

I actually drained my block the night before last, can't believe I was worried about freezing temps this early.

Wish I had a mooring, I've been looking for a piece of land on a lake where I can at least moor the boat so I can go boating after work rather than trailering ever single time.

Hooky, sounds like a good reason to me.

Hmmmm! Snow and Hooky. Reminds me of the time two or three of my buddies and I managed to play hooky from school. We had gone hunting over the weekend. We claimed to have been snowed in at our deer hunting camp causing us to miss Monday's High School classes.

The English Literature teacher read the rest of the class our reason for our absence from school. The rest of the class snickered. "Hmmmph!" he snorted. "Snowed in, is that what they say?........Sounds to me more like a snow job.

We returned the following Tuesday and the Principal of the High School had additional responsibilities waiting for us. We were each asssigned snow shovels and were in charge of shoveling the walks to clear the way for the rest of the students before school was in session each school day for the rest of the Winter. It was a long hard Winter.

Enjoy your snow blowers and plows. It could always be worse.
