Unfortunately, I have R4s on my B2910 Kubota... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I guess it wasn't even mud...more like soft earth, since it was a freshly dug (in the fall) area where a new sewer line was installed behind my pond.
Even with chains on the back, the front tires became slicks and I cound not steer. Pushing back with the bucket curl almost worked, but I was then backing up a slope of about 20 degrees and not feeling comfortable about it, being wet and all that.
Managed to work my way around so I would be facing differently, hoping to work my way out that way.
Silt fence along with holding back some silt, also works like a spyder's web when you back into it when trying to escape...
It takes a sharp knife to cut it loose after it wraps around both axles and pulls the 2x2 stakes up in between the tires and fenders...
"The tractor still looks stuck, even though it is about out" and "Being this muddy, the camera can stay in the house" go through my mind as I walk up to get that sharp knife.
The pressure washer only has a little gas in it, but gets it gets most of the mud off before the gas runs out. Gas can is empty, waiting for its spring fill up...
As happens at least once a year, I wonder how much better R1 tires would have been. I bet a lot better, especially on the front.
Man I love this spring-like weather we have been having. It was a great day! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
