Its a good feeling

For over 2 years I have read post on this site hoping that someone other than myself bought a yanmar 2500. As someone mentioned there's not much on this model mentioned here. Well finally the 2500's are coming out of the wood work. A lot of post are for the 2000's and it's helpful for all the responses from other peoples problems or experiences. But it just feels better coming from fellow 2500 owners. The dealer I bought my tractor from (Clark's Farm Equipment in Gilbertown,Alabama) has really stood behind my tractor. Anthony Clark is a fine christian man and has been a real friend to me. When someone such as myself ,who has never owned a tractor buys his first tractor its almost like walking out into the dark night, its a lot of uncertainty. Questions like should I buy a grey market for a lot less money or go the whole 9 yards and buy a new tractor? How do I justify all this money just for fun and entertaiment? Will I be able to find parts, get help with problems and such. It's really nerve racking to say the least. I can truthfully say that Anthony Clark solved all that headache for me, THANKS ANTHONY. I know this is a long thread but I think with all the scams going on now days I think a good person should be recognized. Thanks and have a nice day.

Hey Gary, welcome to TBN. Good to hear you got a good deal, dealer, and tractor. Might add to your profile and let us know a little more about where your located, equipment you have, etc. What are you using your tractor for, and any pics? I used a little Yanmar backhoe rental rig several years ago to do some work for a friend of mine. It wasn't fancy, but was a stout little rig. I like the looks of Yanmars, and may buy one in the future. There is a dealer in Dallas (not very reputable, according to some), so I'm still investigating.

Good feedback is as important as bad feedback. Good to hear, especially since Clark Farm Eqpmnt. is a fellow UTDA member, selling Yanmar units with UTDA certification and the highest level of safety equipment in this market....OSHA approved ROPS, clutch safety start switch, pto shield, OR coupler (yes, it's standard equipment for UTDA), new english decals, and so on.

Wayne you're right,
up to now only the so so dealers have been getting all the press. Its about time the good ones get some recognition for their honesty, and willingness to help others.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Good people only give warm welcomes and that's what makes this such a wonderful site. I live in Grand Bay,Alabama,just west of Mobile. I also have a place in Quitman,Miss. about 2 acres. I lease around 500 acres in Melvin,Alabama. My place is 3 miles by road and 1&1/2 miles as the crow flies from my leased property. We use the place in Quitman as a 2nd home/hunting camp to get away from everyday problems and to teach the kids and grand kids to appreciate nature and all the wonders of this world that GOD has given us. I don't know much about posting and am trying to learn as I go. Wish I could post some pictures, hopefully that will come later. I bought a yanmar 2500 ,5&1/2' h/d disc, 5' bush hog, 5' box blade and boom pole. I also have a 5' lands pride finishing mower. All I do is piddle around with my patches and small garden just for the wildlife to eat. It serves its purpose an I am thankful to have a wonderful person to lease from. I get to treat the place as if it were my own and have srarted planning my retirement around it, 3 years to go hopefully. I count my blessing everyday and I thank GOD for my job and my problems. I know there are thousands of poeple who would love to swap places with me. Thanks again & have a great day
