It\'s Been Ordered

After much research, I have finally made a decision and ordered a Kubota B7610. I was looking at mostly Kioti and Kubota and decided on the Kubota, primarily for it's potential mowing capabilities (lower MMM cut height and weight), even though I haven't purchased the MMM as of yet. The extra horsepower could be felt over the CK20 also, but I didn't want to go with the seamingly much larger CK25/30s. Anyway, it should be delivered some time next week. I would like to thank everybody on TBN for their help!

THANKS! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Congratulations - you'll love it, it's a great machine. What did you get with it and if you don't mind sharing the info, what did you pay?

Re: It\'s Been Ordered

I ordered along with the tractor a Woods 7500 backhoe w/ PTO pump, Woods 48" box blade, Woods toothbar, the larger FEL (LA352), with turf tires loaded, welded hooks on the bucket. I paid $21000 for the package which I though was a little high originally until I shopped the quote and it was the cheapest up here in New Hampshire. They also through in the 50 hour service and free delivery to my house. They seem to be real good people to deal with.

Re: It\'s Been Ordered

Congratulations, I have a B7610 and I love it. It is all that I thought that it would be and more. Of course, you know that the boss will come up with a few more tasks than you at first thought that you would be doing with it. But don't let her see you smile! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Remember it is work!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

MathTeacher:

I might be purchasing the MMM for it at some point. How do you like it? How easy is it to remove and install and what kind of cut do you get with it.

Re: It\'s Been Ordered

jfhall, I have had no problems with the mower. I am sure that if you were to get a dedicated mower the cut would be much better, but I like the cut. I have found that if the grass is not as high as I have had to let it get the last few times because of rain it cuts rather good. It actually cuts a good yard (saint agustine grass) better than my father and laws sears mower. If you have a loader than it isn't any problem to remove and put on. Takes about 5 minutes each. I tried to take it off without the loader on and it was a pain. You would need to ride the front tires up on something to give you a few extra inches. But that just means that I need the loader on it. And whenever the mower is off the loader is on it and whenever the loader is on the mower is off. So with that reasoning I just have to take the loader off after I put the deck on and put the loader on before I take the deck off. the hardest thing to change is the three point stuff. They can be a real PAIN! But as anyone here can attest to, IT JUST TAKES PRACTICE! I will say this to all new tractor owerners, Learn what the term grease monkey means and have plenty of rags and very old "tractor clothes" to not let the boss know just how fun it is to get dirty. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I hope that answers your question without too much extra.

We can all relate!

Remember waiting for your 16th b'day so you could drive, or waiting for your 21st so you could drink? The day after you always forget about the wait!
