You built yourself a really nice building there. One that
any of us would be proud to have on our property.

I sure like the second floor.

We have one more going up either this fall or early spring.

It will be a 24X36 with a 14ft sidewall and a 30X12 lean-to
off the back. The building will be primarily a 3 car garage.

Due to the elevations the cars will sit 3 feet down into the foundation.

So based on that with a 9 foot ceiling, I get a 7 foot
sidewall upstairs. Plus with the lean-to being at grade
level I only have like 8 steps up from the lean-to the
space above.

This was originally planed to be my workshop space...

Somehow it has morphed into a 1200 sqft in-law apartment.

Stuff happens...

Hey! How did you get ahold of my blue folding chairs and my ice chest? They were sitting on the floor in my shop, last time I looked. That's a great looking building, though!

Those Scissor trusses are the way to go. I was about 6'10" on my outside wall, and center height is close to 10'. I didn't want the building to look like a skyscraper and the lower upstairs wall and truss tails extending out 1' help lower that outside wall.
