I had a question about the 46 backhoe. I am in the process of deciding between a JD 2305 and a 2320 and one of my concerns the ease of taking off and reattaching the backhoe. Have you taken it off or seen it done? How much time does it take; is it relatively easy for a beginner? By the way I am very jealous and have a bad case of geen envy!

To be honist. i took it loose at the dealer one time. but since my box blade has not come in yet i have not took it off since i got it home. but when we took it off at the dealer. it was not hard. you just put the legs down to stabelize it. and drop the hoe to the ground to get weight off the hoe. take a rubber mallit and pull pins from subframe , drive foward to get off the mounts. about 6 inches. drop hoe to the ground to get presure off hydrolic lines. disconnect hose loop it back in to power beyond and reconnect. and put 3 point arms back on. hoe is off in about 3 min. and it takes about 5 to 10 min to put 3 point arms on. its not really a big deal...
course i have not done it by myself. so after i can give a better review. but it dont seem to be to big of a deal.

Gunmaker , I saw a picture of your 2520 with the JD toothbar a while back. and it was one of the best looking tractors i ever saw. this was the main reson i ordered the 61 inch bucket and the JD toothbar.... I acualy printed a picture of your 2520 and showed it to my dealer. and said i want it like that...

What a sweet lookin' tractor! The light's are awesome! Are the R4's bigger than the standard R4's?
The rears look really wide and taller with only a small gap at the top of the fender.
The neighbor got a new 2520 last year and (haven't seen it since last Aug-Sept) I don't remember his tires as that big.
Great rig and it will get with the program, too! Congrats.
