Well my new 2210 was dropped off last Saturday. Of course it has to be blowing a rain snow mix when it pulled into the yard. Got it into the barn and toweled it off and that is about it. The weather is getting better today so after work i wil get some seat time. No pictures yet, kind of boaring just sitting in the barn..

Well you might be correct that it is kinda boring just sitting there in the barn, but there is something that feels real good about getting the new tractor home and just taking a few minutes to look it over and enjoy.........................always feels great with just you and the tracotr in the barn too.

That snow we got was a bummer. At least we don't live in the Upper as some places up there got 2 feet. Good luck with the new tractor. I'm thinking about getting a 2210 also. Maybe a Bota BX or B7500. What did you get with yours?

The best price I've found on the 2210 w/ 62" deck is $10,500.

Thanks. I went by the local dealer here in SC and drove one. Nice day to do it. Sunny and 75 degrees /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I like the feel, loader control location and the twin pedals better than the BX2200.

Does the 2210 have postion control (I forgot to look). The dealer said no, but the Deere website said yes?

Anyway, I got a quote of $8995 for tractor, $1500 for 62c deck (with $200 deere discount on attachments), $2200 for 210 loader, and $950 for tiller. All told it's $13,800 + tax. I've called 5 other dealers and they are still the lowest.

Russell,
No problem, just to let you know the 3pt and the MMM are gravity drop. While you are lower these units. Return the rockshaft lever to the netural position and that is the position where the 3pt and mmm stay.
On my Dad's 2120 NH when you move the rockshaft lever where it stops is the level the 3pt stops up or down. Meaning instead of the up or down selection on the JD 2210 you have a range of up and down. Maybe you already know about this and i am just rambling on..

The local dealer owns another dealership about 40 miles away. I just called there to ask a question and got him to quote the same and it was $700 less. I wasn't intentionally trying to get them to cut each other, but I guess it happened. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

The dealer me back, and he forgot to take the $400 for implements off and I will get the lower quote, so It's $13,150.
It seems the only price difference is in the tractor themsleves. Implements seem to be the same price everywhere.

I'm hoping to ink a deal tomorrow....maybe.. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
