I did take it off, I just forgot to post the outcome /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It's a piece of cake. I had it off in under five minutes my first time. You just lower the boom to take some weight off, then lower the stabilizers and pull two pins. Then you pull forward a bit and shut it down and uncouple the hydraulic lines. It's about as easy as it gets. Frankly, installing the 3pt hitch links takes longer than removing the hoe. I'll post some pics at some point of the hoe removal install process.
