Just an official howdies and a thanks to these forums for all the information which lead to my purchase. I've had the tractor for 2 weeks and 20 hours of engine time now but just signed the paperwork yesterday so it's official.
But for those comparison shopping, I'm in CT and bought from an in-state dealer.
Kubota 2320 Hydrostatic
304 FEL
Ballast Bucket
Land Pride 4ft Box Blade
A&B One Bottom Plow
Clamp on Forks
Tooth Bar
-- just over $18k including taxes
Like so many others it was between the JD2320 and the K2320 but it just came down to deciding that the price diff could pay for a few extra attachments. Originally, started by looking at a BX25 but glad I moved up to the B. The larger frame was a good decision considering what I've been doing.
What I've been doing:
1. Beating back the woods/brush about 20 feet in all directions to expand the yard. Cutting down trees and clearing out all the ground cover.
2. Bringing in fill to to grade out some steep areas and fill in some 'pits'
3. and eventually in the spring will turn over the entire front and back yards and put some 'real' top soil down and re-seed.
By far the best attachments I've used so far has been my neighbor's york rake for cleaning up the woody areas. The one bottom plow has been great for turning over the very hard compact soil and loosening things up. And the box blade has been great for spreading and smoothing things out.
I didn't go for the mowing deck (yet) since I have a JD lawn tractor for mowing which should still suffice for the time being.
I've very happy with my purchase and I've found alot of information in these forums extremely useful towards making this purchase, not to mention again the how-to videos on EverythingAttachments.com.
Thanks
