Thanks JeremyL. It is Kubota Liability insurance against theft, vandalism, fire, engine failure etc. Dirt cheap!

How cheap is dirt cheap? Somehow, I've never priced it.

Ha Ha.. yes Hydrostat and power steering, yes you are cheating...:) You are going to love it. Congratulations on your new machine!

I have KTAC on my Kioti DK35se. They had to think about it for a while, but said since I was already a customer of theirs (from owning Kubota's previously) they would price out a policy for the Kioti/Loader.

Loaded at Dealership.

Thanks to input from "KUBOTACRES" I added a right hand fender hand rail/guard prior to leaving the dealership. I took one off a MX5100 tractor next to it, and pay for a new one ($46) through parts to replace it on their new tractor. Also grabbed a fast hitch for $120 and a can of orange and gray Kubota spray paint $8-12.

Added 5 weights (275lbs).

And thanks to input from many members I stopped and loaded a new 5' rotary cutter from Tractor Supply for $900. Also grabbed a 3pt boom $123.

Thanks to everyone's help! Tomorrow I'll be bush hogging 6' grass and brush. Exciting!!!

Check the front axle lube level after a couple hours. most check OK right out of the box but need some added shortly after.
No, the fuel gauge is not broken. It stays on "full" for a long time and then drops. Search for more on this.
Also, the temp gauge doesn't go up very much unless really, really working hard and a hot day.

Congrats on a fine tractor.

No problem...it's common knowledge stuff I'm just parroting.

Also, watch out for the heel of your right boot. The rear wheel lock will scrape your heel if you have slightly larger feet and can damage your leather boot heel if not careful. I put a rubber tube on mine to fix the problem. Almost screwed up new boots.

Another issue is the safety switch under the seat that kills the tractor if you get off with the tractor in gear and running. It's mounted on the left of the seat and if you lean too far over to the right while operating and maybe try to look at a rototiller or whatever, the tractor can momentarily cut out. I figured it out pretty quick but startled me at first and not really an issue if you know about it.

Good luck and love my MX5100. Wish I had a second one in 2WD.
