Woke up this morning and it was raining and a very drab day, but the sun did shine a little for me. The Judge, The Honorable Horatio Merkin Curly declared that I was a free man to do as I please for the future. The Lovely Mrs. Junkman is now the Lovely Ex Mrs. Junkman. I got to keep everything and she got nothing but the clothes she wore to court. I'm FREE....... I'm FREE...... Halleluiah....... MAN!, I sure remember that feeling ... close to 10 years ago ... it's been the best 10 years of my life (excluding the accumulated days I was "alloted" to see my daughter). I had never (ever) lived alone before. Now, I can't figger out why some folks think that's such a bad thing. It's empowering. I'm not the least bit against nor afraid of getting married again but, I'm dang near 50 and, now, I don't need to "get" nor "stay" married if I get jerked around again. To some, your commentary may sound cruel. Maybe mine does too. Mine is not intended to be gender contrary. Like the basis of our country, freedom assumes a lot of responsibilities and takes a lot of casualties but there are many women who know that too. ... well, that was way too much "sharing" for this forum but, I know what you are talking about and I, humbly, wish you the best.

You can be thankful for one more thing... that you don’t live in Calif. where to be free can really cost you. Went through it 2 years ago myself.

Highly unlikely in this day and age. Unless the other person is a low-life with a sorrid history of lawless-ness and just an all around evil doing dreg.

My point (I do have one!!) is everyone's situation is unique. Some people are happy alone while others (me) seem to be happiest with someone. To each his own..........

It is when you had a good attorney prepare a Pre Nup agreement before you made the final vows. I knew that if it was to ever happen, I didn't want to loose what I had already obtained. Donald Trump isn't the only one that has good lawyers. In reality, she got all that she had coming into the marriage. Lots of stuff that went in the kitchen and some furniture. Two closets of clothes, shoes, etc. I did give her the car even though it was registered to me. I figured it was better than a fight when considering there was not much value to it. The only thing that she left behind was the pesky Mini Daschund.... No animals allowed where she is living. Soon as she finds another place, she will come for the dog...
