It's So Hot!!!

I don't know what kind of heat index we had, but the temperature was 101 yesterday, 103 today, and forecast to be 105 tomorrow, and no relief in sight.

The weather guy said very little heat index. What the thermometer says is what we get due to low humidity. Evidently the weatherman wasn't anywhere around me yesterday when I was outside. I can assure you that my t-shirt was very highly humid.

We got a slight reprieve for a couple days last week, but that's all over now. Temperatures forecast at about 90 for the next few days. I won't complain. I'm not ready for the Canadian air yet, we get plenty of cold air from November to March. Summer goes by way too fast to suit me.

I just got home and the truck temperature. Showed 65 degrees!

Man, that truck of yours runs a little on the cool side. Maybe try a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator.

Much better here today. Right now we have a marine layer sitting over us. About 65-70, overcast, with a light mist in the air. Sure beats the 98 on Friday when I had to drop the fuel tank out of the motorhome to replace the fuel pump after dying on the side of the road in the desert.:confused2: Good to be home.

I mowed Saturday and it had been exactly one week since my yard was mowed. However, before that, it was mowed every 3 to 5 days since March 28, although it was let go for 6 days one time in June.
