I think you got your stories mixed up.
First off , nobody lost a lawsuit for labeling it 303 oil. The oils were correctly labeled 303 , but incorrectly stated they were suitable for higher demand applications.

If you run any modern expensive machine you care about, you would know, you never , ever, use low grade 303 oil.

Secondly, it wasn’t specifically a Warren problem , It was mostly Citgo who made the product, and it was sold under various labels, including Supertech 303.
Don’t use 303 oil in a modern machine, no matter who makes it

Pretty intense for a first post. I'm not buying one bit of it. Pics of filters, screens, the drained oil and the substance that "plugged the transmission up" would be helpful. Not the generic AI pics that are there.

It's not even worth discussing OEM vs aftermarket fluids specific to JD unless there's some reality to this.

Milky fluid? Wonder if someone bought the hydraulic fluid, used it and retuned it with junk oil or even some water?
I think there was another thread recently where someone bought Travelers oil from Tractor Supply and it had water in it.

I had a problem with hydraulic oil from tractor supply a while back. 5000 Ford tractor in 6 months time had to change out fluid 3 times until I figured out what was going on. The fluid is designed to absorb a certain amount of water with no problem and then it just cooks off. At first I blamed condensation because tractor kept inside. Then when I was in TSC looking at stuff in their outside lot there sat a skid of oil completely uncovered with rain water on top of the buckets
Got next batch of oil someplace else and problem over.

Sorry you had some negative replies. Personally I used walmart engine oil in everything here. Have for years with no problems.
