j series questions

Im thinking of changing up my plans and going with a smaller tractor for day to day yard work. ive used a BX2370 with loader and MMM and was very pleased with it. I priced one today and was pleased with the cost. so my question is how do the j series compare and what are the prices like? are you happy with yours? how is it set up? I like the pedal configuration better on the LS hydro vs the kubota hydro but that would not be a deal breaker. the LS site leaves alot to be desired

The J series is bigger and heavier than the BX. You get dual hydro pumps versus the single on the BX as well as a significant amount more lift capacity with the bucket. Not to mention a better warranty. Think of the J series as being more comparable in size to tyne Kubota B series.

I own a J2023. It was recently replaced by the XJ2025 tier 4 model. I paid $12,200 for mine, but I think think the new XJ models are a little higher. I'm very happy with mine. I've been using it to haul dirt and have moved close to 15 tons in the last couple days. I moved 30 tons of gravel with it last year. It will work circles around a BX Kubota.

I don't have the XJ. I have the J2023 which is the same tractor essentially prior to the tier 4 stuff.

I use the tractor all the time! I brush hog 6 acres. I blade a gravel drive. I plow snow my a lot of my neighbors. I move rock and dirt. I use the bucket to lift and move heavy things. I have a rototiller and till my garden my neighbors.
