Been stuck working in the 24/7/365 world olmost all my life...still waiting for an undisturbed vacation.
Loading trucks by hand out of HS.
Graduated to working in a hospital ER as an orderly....is there such a thing as an orderly anymore?
Became a paramedic and 12 years latter seen it all, done it all and tired of working 72 hrs a week for 12 yrs., moved into EMS/Patient Tansportation management. Did a couple of turn key start-ups.
Not smart enough to get out of 24/7 went to taxi/black car/bus and limo transportation. VP now with too many responsibilities to list. 1500 vehicles and 3000 people don't allow much sleep, time on the tractor, or time away from the ball and chain cell phone.
Have loved every minute.
Regards,
Kevin
