jackhammer for BX25

Anyone know if a hoe mounted breaker/jackhammer is available for a Kubota BX25?

Never used one on a small backhoe but I know they are very hard on big machines and I would think they would be quite hard on a small machine as well.

Not really an answer to your question but I would consider the abuse the machine will take before I mounted a hoe ram on my equipment. Maybe rent a mini excavator with the hammer on it.

I agree 100%, most excavators in the business will use an old hoe to run their hammer from. These hammers are tough on equipment and are one item I would rent with a separate tractor. To get any work done while hammering you need one tractor with the hammer and one with the bucket to muck it out anyway.


If you insist I am sure you can get a small hammer to shake your machine apart.

a hammer will shake and vibrate your tractor apart real quick. rent a mini excavator with a hammer, itll be well worth it. i wonder of the tractor even has the hydraulic flow necessary to run a hammer.

The comments about how hard the hammers are on equipment are about old equipment. The new hammers are so well hydraylically dampened that there is essentially no shock force transmitted to he carrying equipment. I researched this [retty extensively when in the market for a mini excavator with hammer. This said a BX25 is pretty tiny for a hammer.

at around 5 gpm I doubt there is enough flow for a hammer.
