So then, what you are saying is that when I hose clamped two 300 lbs thrust, 15 second burn rocket motors obtained from Vulcan Technology to my Ten Speed Racer, Pinarello, and lit them off with an electric match simaltaneously, the bungee cord I had wrapped around my waiste and clipped to the stays should have kept me firmly attached? /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif J

I love the Red Green show. But have not seen Duct Tape.

I saw a Jet powered truck (the size of a semi w/o a trailer) they had at an air show several years ago, it would do a 1/4 mile drag race with an airplane that got a running start (flew past the starting gate at 125 MPH then the truck took off). The truck took off like a bat out of h*ll and beat the airplane to the quarter mile. Very impressive. I believe it was a jet engine out of an old F-4 Phantom. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Les Shockley also helped engineer the Jimmy Franklin jet powered WACO biplane. His bio says he's planning a twin jet powered Long EZ in the future.
