I bought the machine new in 1986. After not having used the backhoe for an extended period I was hardly able to raise the boom or the front loader.
The hydraulic pressure goes to only 1000 lbs. I tried a new hydraulic pump without any improvement. I checked the flow to be plenty at 5 gal per minute. I installed a new filter and cleaned the reservoir screen. The main pressure relieve valve seems to be working. Does anyone have any suggestions what else to look for?
