Dealer JCB Fastrac Dealers?

   / JCB Fastrac Dealers? #11
There are companies that build loaders for the Fastrac, who they are I can not help you with only that I have seen multiple Fastracs with loaders.

Some of the changes reported to the TV are steerable front axle (similar to the row crop option on the smaller Steigers), more hp, beefed up components and an updated cab. If they go with the steerable front axle I am hoping they will have a lock out on the articulation so you can use just the front steering axle and give you higher road speeds. But how much of this goes thru is anyones guess. Hopefully NH will carry thru with the rumors and give us a beefed up TV.

Check out the Valtra T series www.valtra.com I wish they had a dealer locator on their site but they don't but Valtra should be in your area as they expanded down from Canada. You might have to ask your Agco dealers to see if they know. The T series has the twintrac which allows you to rotate the seat similar to the NH TV145 but the T series is a solid frame tractor. Both Valtra and Fendt are part of Agco but both brands are completely different then the other Agco brands like Agco, Challenger and Massey Ferguson. Those ones are all very similar with mainly paint and hoods being different. The Valtra and Fendt are more European in design and function and you can get front 3pt and pto's on them here in the US :)

The Unimog would be a great machine but I have never seen a Unimog dealer here. Contact Von who use to post on here a lot, now only checks in on us. He does a lot of work with Unimogs now restoring and reselling. He would be a good one for information if you are interested.

From everything I have heard Hoobiers (or however their name is spelled) is a very large outfit and if they sell JCB like they say I would think they stock them. Hopefully someone down in PA would be able to say for sure.

I wish I could help you more with a JCB ag dealer but they are few and far between right now.

thanks so much for your cornacopia of information. I just love the European design of their tractors...so much more multi-purpose and inovative vs. just the standard design with just more HP or a slightly different trans.

Will do some more research and looking. No big rush to own one but really would like something like a Fastrac.

TV is cool but something about is just missing (road speed being one thing) dealer near me had one when they first came out. Sat on it for 2 years prior to selling to another dealer.

Stay cool.

I agree, I have always been fond of the European tractors. The Europeans design things to be efficient and basically, they do things the right way. Why the US refuses to go along with it is a mystery to me. Much like the metric vs SAE thing. Metric is a much simpler system but we don't want to update to it so things cost more.

I have always loved the front 3pt and pto. I have no idea why more tractors do not have it here. Putting a brush chopper on the front of a tractor seems like a smarter idea then the back. Why run over the garbage with the expensive tractor before you hit it with the brush chopper. I would rather damage a brush chopper then a $40k-$100k tractor. New Holland allows you to have a front 3pt and pto on the TN95FA which is why I am leaning towards buying that model even though I only need the TN85FA. I would much rather have my mower mounted on the front as well as my sprayer. Plus there are a lot of other items that would be slick on the front of these tractors like 3pt post pounders and carryalls, weight boxes so on so forth.

I do hope you can get your JCB. I have always like them mainly because they are different. If you do get one make sure you post some pics of your setup when you get done.

we are brothers from another mother :)

I totally agree efficiency and multiple usage. Why have two or three machines when you can have just one. Why no front end PTO's and hitches is also a mystery to me. snow blowing in reverse...pain in the neck literally...backing into stuff or running it over to brush hog it...stoopid!

I am looking around and I will most likely own a Fastrac before too long. Can really justify owing it if I can get the most usage out of it...that means many attachments etc. That means finding a dealer etc who knows and will be helpful equiping it correctly. I've been told there are front end loaders available for Fastrac's might you know of a brand? That would really help me seal deal to own one.

I can assure you if I get one I will have it well appointed and I will post lots of photos I would be very excited about it.

thanks

I will find out about the loaders for you. Is there a particular Fastrac you are looking at?

most likely a 2155 if that has sufficient capabilities...such as a decent loader capacity...if not I may have to move up to the 3000 series.

thanks for the help...really curious if there is a loader available how good it is and how quickly it can be installed and removed.

Any suggestions and/or info would be great.

SDDave, don't rule out the Claas Xerion Trac VC . Very interesting design with cat power and a rotating cab. Do you still have that JD 3800?
The only loader I've seen on a Fastrac was on the military TLB version made for the US military.

Hoobers is a very good operation, also our biggest competition. I've been to their larger two stores several times and never seen a JCB on the lot. They have two other locations that I've not been too, its possible they have them there. I would guess they probably sell JCB for the construction aspect of the brand, not the tractors. They are very dedicated to Case.

no the 3800 is long gone...had some many issues with that machine Deere corporate help trade me out of it and into a 244J loader. Really liked that 3800 just couldn't handle not knowing what was going to fail next.

The claas looks nice, claas dealer nearby too, but seems a little larger than I would ideally like. Website info was sketchy, didn't see a loader there, nor did it have the load deck that would be very handy on the Fastrac for spreader/sander.

Seen some photos of Fastracs with loader could see a name to get details if they are really feasible or not. Not a deal breaker without one but really could make the math work better if it would replace my 244J.
