Filling the tires makes crossing ditches with the hoe much more difficult I would think.

I have had mine for six years this month without problems, have to be careful though on side slopes. I agree with AKfish that wheel spacers in your case would be a better way to help with side stability.

Weight of the machine witch backhoe and loader 7600 lb (Taken from the brochure)
I estimate the loaded wt of each tire with water to be about 450 lb (taken from this thread http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/new-holland-owning-operating/13241-loaded-tire-weight.html)

This would take the total weight to 8500 lb. Which is getting close but still under the 9000 lb.

I forgot that it never freezes in Australia! Most of us in North America wouldn't use just water to fill the tires.

'Course my 110 has the belly pan, hyd thumb, HD 20' hoe bucket and HD front bucket with cutting edge.

I think that would put me very, very close (if not over) 8,000lbs without filled tires.
