JD 1250 opinions please

Hi, I have come across a JD 1250 for sale with low hours and a front end loader. The tractor appears to be in good condition. Diesel, about 40 HP. Are these realiable tractors?, I know that they have a Yanmar engine and I think they were made overseas. What type of transmission does it have? Does the 1250 have a turbo charger?

Check out TractorData.com for info and serial #/year. I have never operated one but have felt the 1250 was rather bulky for a 40HP tractor. Good in some aspects- too large for my application, though. Yanmar engines seem to be good engines- 3 cylinders are noisy, but good engines. I bought a JD 4500 4WD and FEL, 4cyl, Power Reverser Tranny- love it! That's my opinion.
