Front Axles are the same with the same tires, Clearance is the same.

I assumed that since the rear tires were bigger on the 2520, the fronts would be as well..

LBrown....how about adding some more "stuff" to your signature:rolleyes:...Seriously, is the BX1860 a garden tractor?

Hummer, the BX1860 is a BX and thus similar to a 18 hp version to the 2305, complete with HST fan of ill repute. In any case, it's ground clearance is not up to par for the size of organic gardening to which my enterprise is expanding.

Thus, my sincere investigation of the JD 2320 and 2520. I will need to make a decision and commitment within the month, I suspect. Still need some more tutoring about the 3 pt system used and especially the ground clearance facts. Hopefully, no more (troll-like) interruptions.

The 2320 has postilion control on the 3PH, only the 2305 does not. All the 2x20 series use the rockshaft/3PH arms for deck raising/lowering, with the independent lift optional.

Thanks Ken,I stand corrected:eek:

bp...just taking a poke at LB. He seems to have to stick his nose into as many threads as possible regardless if he has anything relevant to add or not...usually not. I have lurked around this site for many years so I know what LB is all about. 14000+ posts and counting....

Anyway, I have owned a 2320 for 3 1/2 years and it has been a great tractor. I use a 4' box scrapper, PHD, 5 and 6' rear blades and 62D MMM. I have the 61" bucket on the 200cx FEL. Good luck with your investigation.
