JD 2120 hydraulics

I know this is an old thread, but figured I'd report my findings.

I finally opened up the SCV to find a poppet valve of one of the pressure valves was all gummed up and stuck. It's spring was even stuck in a compressed position to the valve.

I cleaned it all up and reassembled it.

I am betting it did. My first post was to check the poppets and not make any adjustments.

Effectiveness of cleaning correcting SCV operation would depend greatly on condition of poppet valve seating areas

Yes. The SCV does operate a cylinder now.
