Yup, that's what I thought as well. Wondering if the red dot I have highlighted which is a hole in the casting is the access point to it? On night shift so won't get a chance till tomorrow arvo to have a look at it. It lines up pretty well with the top link mount so it makes sense to be there. Also, I don't think it is a multi speed PTO either. Looking at pictures it looks like the other shaft lives in the casting beside/behind the top link mount.

Yes that's the hole I was referring to. I agree with Zebrafive that Ausmac's tractor has 540 only pto.

Well would you look at that little bugger hiding in all the dirt. I would have never looked there. So give it a soak in lubricant and see if it moves for me tomorrow. Also, have a go at the quality of the repair I found this arvo. I don't know how they managed to break this but that is some of the worst welding I have ever seen. Will be fixing that up before making any adjustments as I would say that probably has something to do with the control arm being in the wrong position.... It will be made right eventually!!!

Yepper you found the adjusting screw. I will advise to turn screw in by small increments until shaft can be installed.

That is the plan mate, however I want to remove the screw first to see if I can clean it up as I do not think it will screw in by the looks of it. May just buy a new screw, nut, o ring but then I have to wait another ? Amount of time for parts.

Would anyone know the thread size for the negative stop screw by any chance? Thinking I can borrow a tap/die and clean it up if I could find out the size.

Screw is listed as no longer available from JD parts.
Nut is P/N 14H856, it's a 1/2-20 jam nut, or 1/2 nut, takes 3/4" wrench 5/16" (.323") thick
O-ring is P/N A4365R, same as number 010 standard O ring, .239" ID and .070 diameter stock.

Thanks Zebra, same part numbers I found. I also found the screw to be T23216. Shame it is not made anymore. I will get a tap and die and clean it up best I can. Nut and o ring will be easy enough to find. Just have to get it out in one piece. It looked pretty ugly today.
