The replacement for the 2210 should be available mid august,
as they are currently ramping down production of the 2210, and orders in the system that went out past june/july have been cancelled.

now, regarding the other small chassis machines.. I can't say I've heard any dates released for them..

Any comments on what to expect in the 2210 replacement? What have you guys been indicating to Deere you need or want to see in the next model? Safe to assume the 2210 replacement will be in the same line up as those to replace the remaining 4000 10s? On an other post you mention the new front 3pt hitch for 3000 and 4000 20s, this be available on the small frames?

Yeah - does anybody have any specifics? If Deere came out with a 2210 that had an integrated backhoe - IE a BX23/Massey GC2310 competitor I might be tempted to trade in my BX23 on a John Deere. I guess I can wait until August and see what they come up with.

I'd like some facts here instead of rumors. I'd like to see a better glow plug setup, less slop in the hydraulics joystick, seperate mid hydraulics for the mmm, IRON transaxle....

I really want a 2210, but I am not ready for it quite yet... Can I assume that the new replacement tractor would be similar (maybe better) to the 2210?? or is that too much to expect.. LOL

I have stated everything I know as of now.. they do a good job at keeping new goodies under wraps till they release them.

That new front hitch on the 3020 series tractors is just a similar system to what the small chassis tractors already have with the quick hitch.

I’m a brand new TractorByNet member but I have enjoyed anonymously reading the threads for months. Great Forum!

I moved to the Finger Lakes region of NY about 5 years ago, built a house on 20 acres and now I’m starting to landscape the property (25% meadow grasses 75% woods). I plan to mow 3-5 acres and ultimately clear the woods of dead and/or fallen trees and redistribute the topsoil piles that were saved when I built my driveway. Planting next year.

I’m currently shopping for a new JD2210 or its replacement (Aug?). I would appreciate any updates on specifications, availability and pricing for the 2210 replacement. I plan to purchase the tractor with FEL, MMM, Rake, Ballast Box and Snow Blower. I originally looked at the X series but quickly moved to 2210 as a better choice for the type of work I’ll be doing over the next few years.

John Deere plays its cards pretty close to the vest.

They do have a sign up page to "Be the First to see New Products".

Thanks to all of you on TBN… I have learned more about tractors and specifically the 2210 in the past few months that, I think JD should make it mandatory reading for JD sales and support folks… Not to mention all the other non-JD forums on TBN…

I hope that over time, I can be as helpful to future new member as you guys/gals have been to me.

I bought a 4010 today but did consider the 2210. I asked the dealer about the 2210 replacement and he was clueless. Didn't know anything about it but said he anticipated replacements for other models. Also asked if the finanacing options would remain the same for August or there would be incentives. He didn't know the answer to that either.

Why? Care to elaborate? What don't you like about the BX that you think you'd like more about the JD version that would justify a trade like that?

Well,
I'm a JD Salesman and this is the info I have as of today. The new model is named "2305", it has more horespower, a tier II engine, sloped hood, cruise control (optional?), independent MMM lift, and a Material Colection System for the MMM coming in the winter. They say the price should actually go down, but after options who knows, I can't see the prices yet, and likley won't for a week or so. I'm also being told that they will be availiable around Aug 15.

The biggest thing I miss on the Kubota is the lack of a quick disconnect on the FEL bucket. With that I could swap easily between a set of forks and a bucket more easily. If I had that I would probably also make myself a rock bucket and adapt a boom pole onto the FEL. Other than that the 2210 appears to have slightly higher capacities on the FEL than the BX does. That is actually something I really wish the BX had more of - FEL lift and breakout capacity. Lately I have heard rumors of a new BX replacement in the works too - curious to see if those pan out and what Kubota might bring us.

Yeah, my dealer said he's heard of a BX23 update this October - wasn't really sure what Kubota is planning, but it seems the rumors are out there.

Word on the street is the 2210 replacement is the 2305. This is the only photo I've found. It'll be 23HP, with the only body changes being the grill and hood. Probably won't be available until October.
