I am thinking about running a firewood splitter behind my 2240. The 2240 has an AUX output at the rear and I would like to use it to run the splitter. I know the splitter has a standard detent valve that cycles the blade through the wood. Is there anything I need to do special to the AUX output to make the splitter work? There is a lever that controls the AUX output that I use to raise/lower my disk but I am not sure if it does "constant pumping" if I raise it all the way to the top?

Anybody know if it will work?

Thanks in advance!

It should work fine, but you will probably need to bungee the handle for the remote valve AFTER the splitter is hooked up so the flow will be constant.
