tell ya what MidGALandscaper, I've had my 2210 for almost 2 years and still hate getting scratches on it. Last winter I picked up a nasty nick on the top of the hood from a chunk of fallen ice. and the bucket I had to almost completely repaint it. It'll be a shame to get that pretty 2305 dirty...

Wax... you bet, I even wax my golf clubs (woods only) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The one 2305 I looked at before ordering mine had a plastic hood. To my surprise, mine showed up with a metal hood... Apparently that's what Deere will be putting on them. Which can be both good and bad. Will be easier to dent but will wax up much nicer /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Well, I never took delivery of my 2305... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif My dealer twisted my arm to go bigger (actually no twisting was needed or involved) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I now have a 2520 on the way instead. So, it looks like I'll have to sit tight a while... Expected delivery date-March 16th... Just thought I'd give another update. My dealer (Phelps-Grundy Center, IA) knew I was interested in bigger so he shot me a price yesterday... not much of a decision after hearing his numbers on the bigger tractor. I'll start a new post and post pics of the 2520 after it arrives....
