Ten hours at 96 dollars an hour seem a little steep. The tractor... they remove crate, add wheels. Backhoe pretty much self contained. Bolt on rear mount.
If you want limo service be prepared to pay the tab. For a grand I would tak the pieces in the crate. You don't have to be a master mechanic to complete some of these minor tasks. I have built a loader from scratch and a back hoe mount for a Bradco 611 which is a 2,000 # attachment with common tools. Were getting to be a society of computer programmers and very few hands on get your fingers greasy problem solvers. Like they say... its only money. I have better plans for it than paying a huge hourly rate for simple tasks I can get involved in.
I have never paid a setup cost for either of my last two tractors or attachments.
