jd 2520 starts and dies

2520 died last week while backing a trailer, checked fuses, pulled fuel solenoid and tractor starts and runs fine but have to shut off by reaching into solenoid area to shut off. Sounds like the holding circuit is not working, took dash apart but not seeing the diodes that are discussed in other posts.

any help would be appreciated.
